Phuket Tours & Tickets

The boat trips, land tours, shows and transfers worth booking in Phuket — compared, priced and bookable in a couple of taps.

GetYourGuide lists a huge number of activities for Phuket, and most of them are variations on a dozen classic days out. We have gone through the catalogue and picked the best-reviewed version of each, grouped by the kind of day you are after.

Everything here is booked through GetYourGuide, which means live availability, free cancellation on most options and reserve-now-pay-later on many. Nearly all boat trips include hotel pickup from the main beaches. Prices are indicative “from” amounts in euros — operators charge in Thai baht, so the figure moves with the exchange rate. Tap any card for the live price in your own currency. National park fees are often extra and paid in cash; see the travel guide.

Choose by the kind of day you want

Phi Phi & Maya Bay

Booking tours in Phuket: FAQs

Frequently asked questions

Should I book Phuket tours in advance?

In the peak months (December to March) book the popular boat trips, the Similans and small-group tours a few days ahead. The rest of the year a day or two is usually enough. Booking online with free cancellation lets you move things if the weather turns.

Do tours include hotel pickup?

Most boat trips and day tours include transfers from hotels at the main beaches. Hotels in the far north or south sometimes carry a surcharge — check the pickup details on the booking page.

Are national park fees included?

Often not. Phi Phi, Phang Nga Bay and the Similan Islands each charge foreign visitors a park fee, usually collected in cash on the day. Each listing says what is included.

What happens if the weather is bad?

Operators cancel or reroute when the marine department closes the port or seas are unsafe, and you are refunded or rebooked. This is most common from May to October.

Speedboat, big boat or catamaran?

Speedboats are fast and bumpy; big boats and catamarans are slower, steadier and have toilets and shade. Choose the latter with young children, a bad back or a tendency to seasickness.
